Christmas & New Year’s News
December 15th, 2011Christmas Eve Service – Saturday @ 6:30 PM
Join us on Christmas Eve as we gather to worship Jesus, Emmanuel, God-with-us. Our service is for all ages and will tell the Christmas story through scripture, song, and video. As usual we will close with our candlelight service and then carry our glow-sticks, which represent the light of Christ, out into the world. Please come and bring any of your visiting family and friends as we share the good news of God’s love made known for us in Jesus Christ.
Christmas Day Service – Sunday @10:30 AM (No Sunday School!)
This year we have the unique opportunity of gathering for worship on Christmas Day. Instead of gathering in the sanctuary, we will have an informal service of worship, meeting together in the Blue Room to share in fellowship, songs, and scripture. Please feel free to come as you are!
Office Closed during Christmas Week
The church office will be closed during the week of Christmas from Dec 26-Dec 30th. If there are any pastoral emergencies during the week, Pastor Jim may be contacted by cell phone at 319-431-0323.
New Year’s Day Service – Sunday @ 10:30 AM (No Sunday School!)
One of our Elders, Jennifer Richmond, will be preaching this Sunday. Come and worship and hear the proclamation of the Word!
